Scudamore has always believed that helping others, medically, and advancing human knowledge, in the fields of medicine, genetics, and history, is the most important goal he has, even if that goal ends up with him having to break the law to fund his research and experiments. He avoided, as much as he could, harming others, in his crimes, and never experimented on unwilling subjects, preferring to do tests on willing volunteers, or on himself, which is why he has his present form, one he is perfectly happy with, and his current powers
