| Geoffroy De'Marcus was born into the Mundus Humanitas on the Comoran world of Caleruega. Tutored by those Devoted to the Wheel, he learned much about the history and laws of the Wheel. When he came of age, he joined the miltary arm of Mundus Humanitas, the Sodalis, as a Scribe. He gained notoriety among the brethren when his knowledge helped uncover a heretical cult of brain-spawn worshipers on the planet Tweenis 12.

| His faith boosted by his success, Geoffry entered the Order of Inquisitors. Being an inquisitor gave him the freedom to exercise his knowledge and prove his devotion to the Wheel. However, this freedom from the watchful eye of the other brothers has caused Geoffroy to stumble into sin. Sins of the flesh.

| It has come to Geoffroy's knowledge that the Cotar-Fomas on the planet Aguba has forsaken the Wheel and thrown his support behind the Steward, a hedonistic and black-hearted man. Rumors of demons and forbidden knowledge leak from the planet. Geoffroy travels to Aguba to help bring the wayward Cotar back into the path of the Wheel.
