HART – Harbor Area Rapid Transit is a system of trolleys that run all across Harbor City. The symbol of the HART is a stylized deer, but people often play on “heart” instead of hart when talking about the trolleys. One popular campaign was “Take the HART to the heart of Harbor City.”
Ferries – There is talk of adding passenger ferries to take tourists to the old fort on Harbor Island. It will be up to the new mayor to decide whether this project will continue.
Millard A. Fillmore International Airport – Named after our 13th president, MFO is a twenty minute drive from the heart of Downtown. The HART runs to the airport regularly and almost all major airlines fly into our airport. You won’t want to miss the art display by local artist Malinda Melissa Langley.
