The physics of Thearn is different from that of our world. Specifically, there had been cases where otherwise completely ordinary human display super human capabilities.

Mitsuwa-sensei

"Those angels (Serafin) are at least as good as me, if not better... but I can, now. That's amazing. I wonder why?"

White light followed her hands and soothed the wounded Schalar. The healing aspect of Blue Stra magic? But the color wasn't right, and Mitsuwa-sensei isn't related to the Serafin in any way.

Taro

"We had some supplies on hand, and improvised, and look at the results! Wasn't it amazing? I'm a genius! And I wasn't expecting them to work so well..."

The effect Taro's rocket achive is not physically possible, given my personal knowledge of his works. He'd consider himself lucky that he didn't blow himself up.

Reiji

"I... I just swung at them, and they fell...I cut one's head off. With a wooden sword. How does that even work? What's happening to us?"
