Basics

According to Saraquel: "Alas, we know little about where they come from-- they do not seem to have or use cities or towns or fortresses. A scholar theorized that they come from another world."

Twisted Versions of the Eight Stars

According to Azyria: "...The power that attacked, you see, devoured the Eight Stars themselves, or nearly so. Our magic failed us, growing weaker and weaker, and the land itself weakened with the loss of this power. And then the enemy revealed new armies of soldiers-- soldiers that it had created using the power of the Eight Stars, twisted and corrupt versions of our own kind. We could not fight. We could only be destroyed."

According to Tinatel: "As for those, they are twisted mockeries of us-- things made in our image. They didn't arrive until after the first wave of attacks."

Dark Elves

Twisted elves.

Appearance

Similar to elves, but dark skinned.

Abilities

Use similar magic as the elves, but much less versatile. The plants that they create are twisted, thorny, and always dead-- they cannot create new life.

Notes

From the dark elf Reiko catch, we know know that they are sentient and self-aware.

"We were created to destroy, and to be destroyed. We were simply told to hunt and kill. More would be a waste. We only live as long as this world lives, in any case."

"You will kill me, I imagine. If not, the world will someday be devoured, and we will all die, except for the Favored Ones who command, who will be born again."

"The ones who command us," said the elf. "...I can tell you about some of them. The last one we spoke to is called Draza, and he melts rocks and spits the liquid metal."

"If I wandered the world, and they called, I would answer. Where else would I go?"

"...We were made for fighting, though. If we are useless, we will simply be destroyed," said the Elf. "...I don't know how to be my own master. I don't understand what to do, or how to do any of the things that you said."

Wyrms

Twisted Dragons

Appearance

Legless draconic snakes, with dragon wings and horned heads.

Abilities

Big, strong, and tough, they are heavily armored and can breathe fire. Unlike Dragons, they are not, in turn, fireproof.

Notes

Much more prolific than Dragons.

Ogres

Twisted Gnolls

Appearance

Gigantic bestial figures, over ten feet tall, and covered with fur and fangs.

Abilities

Tremendously strong and tough.

Notes

Berserkers. Not terribly bright.

Demon Officers

We havent actually meet any of the Demon Officers yet...not unless you count the ones that we squashed. Mafuyu will just list the powers we have, and the rumors we heard about the Demon officers.

According to Azyria: ""...Presumably, when you appeared here, you landed on them, and somehow absorbed their powers. It probably relates to the magic of this shrine."

Accirding to Raksas "...They come in many shapes. They have powers we'd never dreamed of. A thing like a giant snake poisoned the sea with its breath and gaze. Something like a dragon, but glowing blue without fire, destroyed the capital of the Elves in a single burst of power, a ball of fiery smoke that climbed into the heavens, trailing smoke behind it. It is said that the Sorcerors were annihilated by an insect made of blades that sliced lives and buildings and magic and souls in half, and a gigantic beast of metal and steam that spat sling-bullets and metal that burned. The Gnoll lands were eaten by a great beast that devoured everything, leaving only stinging sands in its wake. There are many others, as well..."

None of thre Demon Officers Raksas mentioned had been further identified yet.

According to Strasha: "The mightiest of them have poisoned seas, destroyed cities in an instant, and withered forests and plains away to deserts. One cut a mountain in half. Do not underestimate them."

Most of the Demon Officers Strasha mentioned are consistent with what Raksas said, with the addition of the one that cut a mountain in half.

"I think we've seen different ones," sighed Chiel. "The one that caused us the most trouble seemed to be one that burrowed through the earth, made of living, burning rock, like liquid fire."

Mafuyu

Appearence

Cat ears, whiskers and a tail. A light coating of brown, mottled fur. Retractable claws in fingers. Presumably this Demon Offices was feline in shape.

Abilities

Feline dexterity. Draw underground water to create swamps. Create Will-O-Wisp that can harm insubstantial beings such as wraiths. Sensing movements on the ground. True extent unknown.

Reiko

Appearence

Arms and hands covered with drawn scales. Slit-pupilled eyes. Small fangs in the mouth. Presumably this Demon Offices was serpentine in shape.

Abilities

Claws. Extend limps to great length. Turn into two-dimensional form. Turn enemies into helpless two-dimensional images. True extent unknown.

Tatsuya

Appearence

Short metal horns on the head. Metal hooves. Gears and chains at the joints. Presumably this Demon Offices was bull in shape.

Abilities

Fire gears as projectiles. True extent unknown.

Atsumi

Appearence

Orange-yellow-red thin tendrils on head and at the corners of her ears and eyes. Perhaps this Demon Officer was plant in shape?

According to Tinatel: "...One of the enemy-- a strange creature of tendrils and antennae, that attacked mind and soul and body alike,"

Abilities

Emit and receive radio wave. True extent unknown.

Renmon

Appearence

Fiery-feathered wings on the back. Feathers of flame as hair. Perhaps the Demon Officer was bird in shape?

Abilities

Create powerful blast of fire and sword of flame. True extent unknown.

Hiroshi

Appearence

Seven feet tall. Incredibly muscled. Blue-white skin. Hair covered with frost. Presumably this Demon Offices was humanoid in shape.

Abilities

Freeze air and create ice. True extent unknown.

Trivia

Hiroshi's new appearence is akin to the Frost Giants in Norse mythology.

Tamaki

Appearence

Short black fur over the body. Black the skin. Fangs, pointed canine ears and tail. Red her eyes. Presumably this Demon Offices was canine in shape.

Abilities

Create mass of seemingly intelligent black claws. Teleport. True extent unknown.

Daisuke

Appearence

Dark blue and purple mane as hair. Hooves, and horse tail. Skin covered in golden runes. Presumably this Demon Offices was horse in shape.

Abilities

Create runes that manipulate electricity in various ways. Walking in the air. True extent unknown.
