Cyrus knew that if he went home, he would doom everyone he cared about merely by being near them- avoiding Ork patrols was one thing, but the presence of a Dragon meant Izrador's Legates would be scrying anything and everything that took place here.

Midnight: the SCROLL BEARERS

Description: human Sarcosan, male, black hair, brown eyes, dark skin. 24 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 120 pounds. Thin build, slightly pointed ears, slightly almond-shaped eyes, very little facial hair. His size and lack of facial hair often cause others to think he is younger than his actual age.

Cyrus is a Sarcosan rogue who worked as a courrier (and part-time thug) for various smugglers and other shady types who wished to avoid official attention (or needed a little extra muscle).

He thought Gareth had given him a milk run, deliver a short (memorized) message regarding troop strength in various locations and their recent movements to the Gnome 'Veal Letticue' in Grover's Hollow. No matter, it meant a week of good eating instead of constant hunger pangs.

The Scroll Bearers arrived at the exact same time.... and the small army of Orks hunting them arrived perhaps an hour later.

Things went from bad to worse when the Gnome 'Veal Letticue' revealed itself to be the dragon Varlathis, charged the Scroll Bearers with a mission, and took to the air to engage the orks... leaving them in her lair, in the company of her egg.

Then things got really complicated.

Cyrus currently has 1 level of Fighter, 7 of Rogue, and is of the Ironborn heroic path.
