Background
Palmir is from a humakti family who moved to New Pavis from Sartar when he was still young, before the Lunar invasion. He grew up there and, learned to be a warrior and once the Lunar invasion took over the city, he enrolled in a mercenary company. All along, he spent most of his time with his best friend, Norin, whose family moved to New Pavis at the same time.
When their time as mercenaries was about to end, Norin decided to join a party looking for a great treasure in the Rubble. Both of them had had oportunities to raid the Rubble before, but nothing very serious. This time, Palmir did not follow his friend as he found the quest unlikely to succeed. Norin did only find his death in the adventure, and the only things Palmir saw of him come back were his body, his belongings, and his last will.
Norin wanted his sword, a family heirloom, to be restored to his cousin back in Sartar. His closest friend was the only one trustworthy enough to his eyes to accomplish this errand. Riddled with guilt and pain, Palmir left his mercenary company and resolved to do as Norin asked. His destination is Apple Lane, where he must meet the weapon thane.
