Arbiter Haxtes has run into the Serrated Query twice now, once during a major investigation into the Joyous Choir, and once while onboard the spacehulk Twilight.
The Serrated Query on Ambulon[edit]
Arbiter Haxes stumbled upon a Serrated Query cell on the mobile city of Ambulon on Scintilla. The cell was led by an assassin going by the name of Theodosia, and was manufactuing the drug Farcosia from the dead brains of the psykers of Hive Sebellius.
Local Arbites forces helped clear out the cell, and took massive amounts of evidence into custody. None of it directed Imperial forces closer to the Serrated Query, but rooted out many other separatist cells related to smuggling and distribution for the now-deceased cell.
Inquisitor Trassk's Acolyte[edit]
On the spacehulk Twilight, after discovery of the lost Demonhunter, Haxtes discovered one Trassk's acolytes was part of the Serrated Query when he stole the Liber Daemonica from Haxtes and attempted to hand it over to the Dark Eldar Corsairs. Thanks to the quick effort of Haxtes and the Brother-Sergeant Agmarr, the Liber Daemonica was recovered and witnesses were eliminated. However, the destruction of the Twilight by Battlefleet Calixis didn't leave enough time to investigate the connection between the heretical acolyte and the Dark Eldar Corsairs
