House Rules for Standing:

Heroes may spend Treasure or XP in order to improve their Standing. However, the more well off a character is, the more Treasure is expected to be investing into their Standing.

The above table gives the cost for each level. The Standard of Living indicates the minimum number of Treasure that must be spent on each increase. Thus Rich cultures will spend 9 Treasure points in order to gain Standing 1. Prosperous cultures will spend 6 Treasure. Martial cultures will spend at least 3 Treasure points, and may make up the difference with XP. Frugal cultures can use any combination of Treasure and XP.
