Background[edit]
Jack Hudson wants the truth because the truth can set you free. So far the truth has gotten Jack: a couple of beatings, fired from three newspapers and one magazine, and a great amount of personal joy when an expose brings down the arrogant and powerful.
Jack is currently freelancing for a weekly Boston paper called "The Compass" He doesn't have a set byline and was asked to be the theatre, food, and entertainment critic. He finds the work beneath him, but writes "to keep his hand in". The pay from paper is not enough and he answered a help wanted ad with the idea of writing an article about the Ghostbusters.
Jack uses the office equipment as if it was his own and will often "twofer" both jobs. If investigating a sighting in a certain area, Jack will stop and have lunch at a restaurant he is writing about for The Compass.
