Jabu is a rarity, a gnomish business owner. He has a tavern named after himself.
For whatever reason he very rarely talks to anyone - except if a patron asks for a drink recommendation. He has a knack of knowing what one will enjoy the most.
He spends his days either just siting there at the "bar" with a drink in his hand, or floating his barge through Shaema, looking for fruits and spices and brewing drinks at secret sites.
Every few years he crafts a cold stone. Size of a halflings head, it is runed and enchanted to be permanently cold. To create one he needs time, concentration, his tools, gold dust and a blue-spear stone of a good size and quality. He already owns 2 of such stones, one sitting on the bottom od barrel of Birch-sap wine and the other in a barrel of Bush beer. The stones are black spheres with a dark blue glow, carved to resemble cracked ice.
