Keth is another foundling raised in the same community as Nowhere. The two are close, having grown up together. A half-orc surrounded by halflings and half-giants, he grew up very aware of his size and the need to be gentle - something which steered him away from the martial pursuits people often expect of him. He puts his strength to good use working as a stonecutter, having found his way to Da'an Du after Nowhere was sent to sea.

Sh'vala sees to the wellbeing of the oasis. Though she is not a formal part of any faction, everyone defers to her when it comes to decisions regarding the protection and care of community resources such as water and wind. The Elementalists have authority over the use and distribution of these resources, but even they must petition her for access (which she has never refused).
