Before Episode One

Timeline: The year is 2525. Seven years have passed since Malcolm Reynolds and the crew of the Serenity exposed Alliance culpability in the creation of reavers in the course of trying to create a more docile and manageable populous.

And though events saw to the annihilation of much of the reaver population in the verse, it also levied a not inconsiderable blow against the almighty Alliance Navy,

Now, amidst overwhelming disapproval for the Alliance throughout the verse, rumors of uprising abound and talk of a second Unification War can be heard whispered in every dive bar and watering hole across the black.
