History

Originally Ijesek's Stoa was a religious center and an administrative center. Eventually Yigarda built better administrative building and better temples.

The stoa became used as a market stoa. It was too large for local merchants and the place remained mostly empty for a century.

A nearby Warrior club burned down and its owners arranged to hold Fights in a corner of the stoa. This worked incredibly well and the empty parts filled up.

The Yigarda administration made arrangements with the fight club owner and a tradition was born. For over 150 years Ijesek's Stoa has been the center of the local community.
