Kjaelos Marak is a Wizard player character in the Realms of Adventure PBP game on RPGnet played by howareyou.
Appearance
Born in the city of Ferromaine, Martin is the last of eight children. His parents, menial laborers who relied on odd jobs and lived from hand to mouth, had their hands full with his older siblings and were unable to care or provide for him in any way. And Martin grew up on the streets in the infamous waterfront district, fighting, stealing, and scavenging in order to survive. At age six, his parents "gave him away" to serve as a pageboy in the household of Roderic Cantalini, a merchant of some standing in the city. Martin became the playmate and childhood companion of Roderic's son Geoffrey. A year after almost the entire Cantalini family drowned in a boating accident, Geoffrey gave his life to serving God as a crusader and took the cross at age twenty. And Martin accompanied his childhood friend and young lord to the Crusades. Three years has since passed. Martin returns a veteran of the Crusades to the place of his birth alone, his friend Geoffrey having been killed a year ago in an ambush by Ta'ashim cavalry.
