BRIEFING
A game of surviving in the harsh world of space capitalism
The players were a science team, scientists, their support android and marine guards for Rasmussen WorldSurvey a spin-off from the Rasmussen Technical University a small planetary university desperate to gain commercial funding. Your first contract was on a lush jungle world that had thick, rotting mats of vegetation on top of what proved to be large bubbles of a highly acidic biotoxin mixed with a huge volume of carbon-dioxide gas. Your team returned from a tour of the sensor ring to find the camp full of bleached corpses streaked with blue blood and a large steaming crater where the expensive equipment used to be. Your debt and contracts were bought from the horrifically bankrupt Rasmussen WorldSurvey at a 1 to 1k ratio by Massamor Mining. They generously leased you a ship and have provided you with a contract to start repaying your debt to them.
