Background Tetsuzō is a Japanese Nationalist fanatic. He joined the military at age 18. When Emillo Mola approached the Japanese government about recruiting soldiers for Mola's "Axis Uber Alles" Atlantean technology program, Tetsuzō readily volunteered. Dr. Krieg subjected Tetsuzō to intense Telluric energy experimentation along with stress tests - such tests amounted to almost killing Tetsuzō in a variety of ways while exposing the young Japanese soldier to Telluric energy. His near drowning at the hands of Krieg while exposed to the Atlantean energy turned Tetsuzō into a kind of water elemental. He has been faithfully serving Molla and Krieg since his transformation.
