| | Danning is an elvish wildlander of the healer path. He is one of the original scrollbearers. He is following the captours of his sister and is a sworn enemy of the orcs and their masters. |

| Danning Valendor was born in the small shire of evanglade into a | |
| family of town warders. So from birth was taught the path of the
| |
| fighter. Expecting he did not have much of a choice he attacked his
| |
| training with zeal.

| As he grew nearer to the age of adulthood his shire was attacked by
| |
| an orcish raiding party and his parents were killed. Not | |
| understanding how these people could be killed so senslesly he gave
| |
| up the ways of the defender. Seeking out the closest thing the
| |
| village had left to a healer, he apprenticed himself to the village
| |
| trapper/tracker, Jason Aronreach, top learn the ways of the
| |
| wilderness and how a person could use nature to heal a wound and cure
| |
| an illness. The tracker not having a son of his own passed on every
| |
| piece of knowledge he had to this young elf hoping that one day it
| |
| could be put to use in the service of the witch queen.

| When Danning reached the age of adulthood, He and his lifelong
| |
| companion Samual were returning from a trip to the northern forest
| |
| where they had heard of a poacher (Strom) who had been killing elk
| |
| for the horns and leaving the bodies to rot. Upon return to the area
| |
| of their home village, they saw several plumes of smoke from some of
| |
| the outlying farms. One of those being the home of Samual and his
| |
| sister (both parents were killed in the same raid as Danning). | |
| Mourning the loss of his sister, they vowed to avenge her.

| While traveling east towards the human lands they happened upon a
| |
| tavern in one of the smaller shires. While relating their sordid
| |
| tale to Annie the barmaid a local shopkeeper approached the pair..
| |
| Stating that he had overheard the pair telling of the lost sister, he
| |
| advised them that he had heard from a human trader, Alan, of an orc
| |
| caravan traveling east towards the local overlords slave camp with
| |
| several elvish women in tow. The friends were introduced to Alan and
| |
| the details were given to them of the caravan.

| The two tracked the caravan for days seeking to find a way to rescue
| |
| the young elf. In one of these attempts, Samual was captured and
| |
| also taken into custody for future work at the mines.Danning barely
| |
| escaped himself.

| With feelings of hopelessness washing over him, he wandered the woods
| |
| for several days barely avoiding capture by the assorted orcs looking
| |
| for him. Having to use every skill taught to him by his old
| |
| teacher. Finally able to hide near a clearing overlooking the
| |
| Felthera river.

| Vowing to rescue his friends and avenge his parents, Danning has
| |
| returned to his village to claim the bow and cloak of his parents and
| |
| has set forth to pursue the orcs where they may be going.
