General

Ciel is 22 years old and a recent graduate of the Gebrok Academy. She has lived her entire life within the walls of academia, and feels quite sheltered and bookish. She knows her future is in the classroom, but before she resigns herself to it, she intends to go out and experience magic in the real world for a time: something she has never before done.

She is largely fearless when it comes to the world, mostly because the vast majority of her experience with it is through books, and books are her friends. She knows intellectually that book-knowledge doesn't necessarily translate well into practical knowledge, but it nonetheless gives her great confidence. Perhaps a bit more than it should.
