Arion City

As you sit at a cafe, you hear a person next to you talking to a person whom is obviously new to the city:

Person 1: "So, tell me about the city, so far I've only been here one day... You know it better than I do, tell me everything!"

Person 2 :"Ahh... life in Arcion... the big city. The city isn't that bad. I mean, there are bad parts and there are better parts of town, my favorite is cape point which has an amusement park and an aquarium, we should go while you're still here. Our city is like most, we have a huge business district, a university, china town (with great dim sum, btw)... the mafia, skyscrapers, high-end malls... a huge freaking airport (ACX), which you came in from..."

Person 2: "Random fact... Did you realize that our port at Cape May exports the largest amount of cranberry in pretty much the entire world, def. this country..."

Person 1: "no, I never realized that..."

Person 2: "We have urban sprawl to the west of the city, as well as a few poorer sections scattered throughout, most of the eastern city is business district. Brigantine Island is where most of the rich people live, and Atlantic city has a high-percentage of rich, and several major motion pictures have been shot at the studios there. Did you ever see the movie 'The Seventh Style'? It was one of my favorite movies that was filmed there.

Person 1: "Oh yeah, Mark really likes that movie too.. it's that movie about the ninjas right?"

Person 2: "Right. Past the dunes and the islands we have some very nice beaches. We have a huge Las Vegas style strip near Ocean City, as well as a few stadium complexes (Go Vigalantes!) and a huge entertainment complex. There are great night clubs scattered throughout the city, I'll probably be going to one later... You should join me."

Person 1: "Maybe, I'll have to see what Mark is doing later."

Person 2: "There's a military base and prison in Ascabon. I have to warn you... There are some bad people over here, Karen... I mean personally I've only been mugged twice, rival gangs compete outside my door and the cops are more crooked than they are helpful... but I survive. I mean, crime has always been and will probably be rampant in most of the city. We have attacks, and explosions fairly often... and muggings happen almost all the time. Everybody I know has probably been mugged at least once... I have a friend has been mugged four times, and amazingly survived... I'm just saying you need to watch your back.... Welcome to Arion City! Hah." followed by long uncomfortable silence

Person 1: "Do you ever think about leaving?"

Person 2: "Fairly often, actually. But I don't want to leave until I finish my work here. Sis, you know my work is important to me... What I'm doing... is going to change thin..."

You are interrupted by the waitress who brings your check. While you are distracted talking to the waitress, the two people you have been listening to get up and leave.

Locales

Lionheart Martial Arts - Mixed Martial Arts school, which Kiyomi and Mick both attend. Lionheart has a variety of classes daily, and is closed on Mondays. Some types of martial arts taught at Lionheart Martial Arts include: Aikido, Krav Maga, Small Circle Jujitsu, Capoiera, Silat, and a sample of weapons arts including fencing and escrima.

Up-Beat Cafe - This is a cafe, that's known around town for the events they have on occasion. They have artists perform regularly, and an annual poetry competition.
