Eagerly joining up to help fight the browncoats, Bertrum showed an unwavering loyalty to the Alliance, to fighting for his family. However, as the months passed by, and the battles intensified, Bertrum started to make his transformation. He was growing discontent with everything. The Alliance, especially. Becket was resentful towards the stratification of society. How the upper-classes were given the highest ranks in the military, and then the normal people were given the low positions. They had to fight the battles, while those above them were allowed to watch from afar with cocktails. |
