Underworld Terms

Bushwack: ambush

Doxy: prostitute

Drops: Illegal, addictive, narcotic drugs

Footpad: pickpocket thief in a town

Goods, The: loot

Hornswoggle: to trick someone

On The Dodge: wanted by the authorities

Second Story Job: Breaking and entering robbery

Scratch: Valuables

Tonic: amateur or illegal alcoholic drink

Went South: problems appeared, the plan fell apart

Technical Jargon

Advocate: a lawyer

Cortex: wide spread information network

Genseed: genetically engineered crop seeds used on freshly terraformed worlds.

Skyplex: orbital city or space station

Wave: a communication(text, video, audio, or holographic)

Chinese Phrases

Accusing someone of lying, a ridiculous notion, or talking out of their posterior: Fuhn Pi, literally "farting."
