It's not a loophole. It's intentional. Whether XP is spent or not, it modifies the power of a character. A character with 320+60XP points is potentially as powerful as a character with 380 points. However - I do think unspent XP should then be spent on the new character. A new character should not start with unspent XP --[[User:Curufea|Curufea]] 17:33, 16 January 2006 (PST) |

After the email discussion, I thought that the decision was that new characters come in as (current points of dead character) - 30 points (or so). Is that including unspent XP?
In other words, If I build up 60 unspent XP, with a point total of say 320, and then die, does my new character get 290 points + 60 unspent XP? This seems to be a strange loophole.
It's not a loophole. It's intentional. Whether XP is spent or not, it modifies the power of a character. A character with 320+60XP points is potentially as powerful as a character with 380 points. However - I do think unspent XP should then be spent on the new character. A new character should not start with unspent XP --Curufea 17:33, 16 January 2006 (PST)
