Belief is measured in levels, which match the power levels of the [[God Game Lite:Acts|acts]] that can be performed. Each 10-fold increase in followers increases the level of Belief. While there's no particular reason to limit the players to level 10, it's unlikely they'd manage to accumulate 100 billion followers, and by level 10 they can use the equivalent of epic spells outside their spheres and affinities.

Belief is what allows the players to affect the physical world. Without it, they would be nearly powerless. Belief must come from free-willed creatures.

Levels[edit]

Belief is measured in levels, which match the power levels of the acts that can be performed. Each 10-fold increase in followers increases the level of Belief. While there's no particular reason to limit the players to level 10, it's unlikely they'd manage to accumulate 100 billion followers, and by level 10 they can use the equivalent of epic spells outside their spheres and affinities.

Pantheons[edit]

When a group of people believe in more that one deity, assume the belief is divided evenly amongst them. Some role playing considerations might change this, but it's up to the GM to decide whether or not it's worth keeping track of.

Who the first races believe in is up to their creators. Generally, they will each believe in only their creator, or they will all believe in all the players.
