Dak Leriti
Physiology
Appearance
Dak Leriti are a machine species, and are capable of constructing their bodies into virtually any form required. All will have a metallic sheen to the surface unless encased in another substance, such as plastics or even living tissues. Size and mass will vary based on current Frame (Dak Leriti term for the physical body).
Locomotion & Manipulation
Being a machine race, Dak Leriti can construct their bodies to any number of specifications, utilizing a wide array of locomotion and manipulation methods. Drones are often given insectoid or vehicular Frames, while Functions and Versatiles have more ‘conventional’ shapes.
Communcation & Interaction
Dak Leriti are capable of synthesizing almost any other form of verbal or visual communication. Amongst themselves however they relay on electronic signals using a complex programming language at very high speeds to convey information.
Body Chemistry
Drones are constructed out of whatever metallic and non-metallic materials are on hand, all Dak Liriti units possess a circulatory system which distributes Bio-Metal. Bio-Metal is a semi-metallic substance comprised of highly advanced nanotechnology, which acts to regulate and repair the Frame of a Dak Leriti. The most unusual aspect of Bio-Metal is that though comprised out of inorganic compounds, the fluid mimics the biological properties of living cells.
