The Beast is Henry McCoy, one of the original X-Men. He is a mutant, born with a vaguely ape-like appearance and gifted with extraordinary agility and a modicum of superhuman strength. He also happens to be a scholar and something of a scientific genius.
 
 
In a storyline from the 1970s, the Beast's mutation progressed further when he embibed a chemical compound he developed. He gained his distinctive blue fur, fangs, and an even more ape-like posture. The Beast is a pretty versatile superhero, though he lacks spectacular powers. Most of his abilities are straightforward. I chose to represent his ridiculous knowledge of languages through the Comprehend power instead of buying every single language he knows. This only cover Earth languages, and the GM can decide he doesn't know the real obscure ones.

There is a problem in Mutants & Masterminds in that characters with high Dexterity automatically are extraordinarily good in skills like Piloting if they spend any points in them. This isn't necessarily the case in the comics. The Beast is a good Pilot, but not a extraordinary one. I purposefully reduced the Beast's Pilot skill to reflect that.
