History
Johnny made his way through the ranks in the Imperial Navy during his youth. When he finally climbed into the cockpit of his first fighter, he knew immediately that this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
Unfortunately, his career as a pilot was cut short when he decided to return to the ship in direct conflict with his orders to attack a heavily-armed Ork Krewza, thus saving himself while the rest of his fellow pilots were shot down by the brutal wall of flak the orks put up.
His punishment was to be ejection from the airlock, but using his amazing charisma, he managed to coerce some of his peers into freeing him from his cell before the sentence could be carried out. He then proceeded to kill two officers and escaped using an old guncutter, his otherworldly piloting skills enabling him to evade all attempts to shoot him down.
Now loose and on the run in the Void, he chanced upon a Pirate vessel and took shelter aboard as an ace fighter pilot. Eventually he built up enough rapport with the crew to depose the current captain and took control of the Void Gem, ruling her with an iron fist and a honeyed tongue. His exploits from this point on are the stuff of legends, often involving daring schemes pulled off directly under the Navy's nose. Some speculate that he tempted fate like this in order to humiliate his old nemesis for his perceived mistreatment at their hands. A full detail of his legendary deeds was once documented in the now-heretical book "Deeds of Darkness: Tales of Notable Villains of the Void."
He finally met his end at the hands of a freshly-anointed young Rogue Trader in a brilliantly-planned and daring ambush. Citizens of the Imperium should be immensely thankful to this servant of the Emperor for his brave actions, which have resulted in the purging of yet another rogue from the Deep Void.
