Starting Situation

While measuring earth nodes for climate balance in your temporal displacement capable airship, your crew finds itself in an unknown time and place. Suddenly, giant flying lizards attack, and your time circuit is damaged until you can find a replacement for the rare element that powers it.

Questions

What is prehistoric earth like? Where are the heroes? How do time-traveling airships work? Where can they find elements to repair their ship? What shocking truth about prehistoric earth do they discover?
