- The Mitchelson Resonator: A device invented by the Finches, it can increase the density of Aether to the point of slowing time inside one of any four of the Resonator's chambers. It was succesfully used to halt the progress of Selene Dashwood's affliction, gaining her allies time to find a cure. Pieter Finch soon devises a bicycle-chain drive to run it, increasing the device's power to allow it to partially solidify captured manifiestations. The chain drive also allows the device to be portable.
- Aetheric Density Modifier: Yet later, Pieter Finch devises a way for the Michelson Resonator to concentrate Aether for magical use. Nicholas Varney tests this new feature. Pieter soon after invents a way to allow the device to dispel magic as well as concentrate it. He renames the device "Aetheric Density Modifier".
