Julian McFarsen loved playing "detective" as a child. He grew up watching cop drama shows and dreamed of being a detective. He would go around town spying on people and following them around trying to figure out their crimes. This often times made people mad at him and he spent a lot of time running for his life and hiding. He naturally learned how to escape from some sticky situations and how to talk is way out of situations too. As he got older he started learning how to dig up information on people using computers. A lot harder to have a confrontation when your behind your computer.

Eventually he decided to join the military instead of the police. It gave him more career options and gave him the opportunity to get out of his small town.
