Elmore Crooked Beak[edit]
The Look[edit]
Elmore is a tall, intimidating man who appears to be in his mid 40s. He has dark eyes, a stern demeanor, and lines in his face. He's First Nations, but his exact tribe is buried somewhere in his personnel file and it's really none of your business. He speaks French and English, both with a slight accent that nobody has quite been able to place.
His colleagues find him a little bit cool, but he gets the job done. He dresses and lives a little more expensively than you'd expect for an RCMP officer, but internal affairs hasn't found anything worth pursuing.
Off duty, he dresses in dark, expensive suits, and smokes a long pipe.
He's also a monstrous man-eating bird from lands beyond, but that's also none of your business.

How long have you been in the city? Too long. About a week. Investigating a murder.
What do you like most about humanity? Your brains.
Who is your closest confidant in the city? Mirelle Le Farre. She knows when to talk and when not to talk.
What do you desperately need? To get back to the country before this city makes me as blood simple as the locals.
