Midnight Sprite PL 10, 150 pp
Background
A scientist studying gravity and its ability to travel interdimensionally, accidentally pulled MS (her real name requires frequencies humans can't hear or reproduce) from her shadow dimension home.
Complications
Motivation -- Sucker for a story: Far from her home, with no known way to get back, MS tends to fall for any sob story about being in a "bad situation".
Quirk -- Bat in the Day: Used to a place that's basically always night and also a giant forest, MS doesn't always "get" Earth. Prejudice -- Creature of Darkness: In addition to just looking weird among humans, some humans and other beings judge MS because she's from a shadow dimension.
Power Loss -- Lack of a Shadow: While MS doesn't need existing shadows/darkness for most of her powers to work, her Snare and Tendrils do not work on any being that can't cast a shadow (e.g. some vampires).
