Nyssa is one of Trigon's countless offspring in the multiverse. She has gotten fed up with all of her father's plan and the general mayhem her other siblings has caused her. As such Nyssa admire her half-sister, Raven, since she's always trying to escape Trigon's influence. Following Raven's footstep, Nyssa left for earth. She has stayed on Earth for some time, but so far she hasn't became a hero in her own right. Learning of the disappearance of a lot of the heroes that threatened her newfound peaceful life, She answer the call to form the New Justice League
