This game will be broken up into Jobs with each job being a series of scenes that roughly map to an arc of (usually) five acts. Each job the crew completes earns each character two (2) experience. Experience can be spent to advance characters as follows:
Tier 0 Advances
- Swap out a current Attribute Rank for another: 0 Experience during or immediately following character's first episode
- Swap out a current Role ranking for another: 0 Experience during or immediately following character's first episode
- Change a Knack: 0 Experience during or immediately following character's first episode (or later if it has never been used).
- Swap out Ambition or Quirk Distinction. Prime Role Distinctions can be changed, but must remain relevant to the character's Prime Role: 0 Experience during or immediately following character's first episode
- Swap out a Distinction SFX. Cannot swap out Hinder: 0 Experience during or immediately following character's first episode
Tier 1 Advances
- Swap out a current Role ranking for another: 1 Experience
- Change a Knack: 1 Experience
- Turn an Asset from an Episode into a
Signature Asset: 1 Experience
- Switch out Ambition or Quirk Distinction for a new Ambition or Quirk Distinction. If Prime Roll Distinction is changed, it must still relate back to the character's Prime Role: 1 Experience If the distinction had active SFX, activate new SFX appropriate to the new Distinction.
- Add a new
Knack to a

Tier 2 Advances
