Name: Matt "Mad" McMasterson
Description: Now midway through his forties, Matt was a famous boxer in his youth - not that he's old now, but starting to admit that he's slowing down. He used to have a small but thriving farm on the outskirts of town until some bandits (?) burned it down around him, not quite two years ago. He's still recovering from being shot in the leg, and spends non-trivial amounts of money on detectives and bountyhunters trying to track down the attackers (it's become a matter of principle, 'cos it was kinda fishy and people who get away with that kind of lawlessness will do it again and somebody oughta do something about it).
Area of Expertise/Influence: Bartending, running a business, prizefighting. Matt and his saloon are good for room and board at a discount (or free when he's feeling particularly avuncular), entertainment, hearing things and seeing people, maybe for tips on business or fighting and general worldly advice.
How you know them and why they owe you: He's my uncle! Plus I always keep an eye and an ear open for anything that might help in his investigation. Sometimes I think he should just start a detective agency of his own, he seems to enjoy it so.
