Criminal Past: While Heather is still on speaking terms and owed favours by several criminal organisations, others have a distinctly lower opinion of her and, if they work out who she actually is, will likely attempt various forms of retribution.
Child: The single mother of a twelve year old girl, there's not much Heather wouldn't do for her daughter, Lily.
Background[edit]
Heather Taylor grew up poor, swimming in the rivers and lakes of Wales, often seeming more at home in the water than on land, and that was before one of those swims ended with her dragging her watery body home in a panic, at least until she worked out how to become solid again.
That particular river was quickly off-limits to the general public, and Heather never really kept up on what happened to it after that.
With hearing able to find a heartbeat under tons of rubble and a body that could seep through the smallest gap and pull someone out in a similar watery form to her own, she was considered a natural fit in the UK's disaster rescue team, and had quite the successful career there.
That career ended with the birth of her daughter, Lily, however. For a long while she was seen as just a retired Active and a mother, instead of the wife and co conspirator of the head of a small group of organized criminals specialising in the theft and sale of industrial secrets and the blackmailing of rich businessmen. Following the death of her husband, Heather took over the leadership of that group up until a run in with a corporate team that did the exact same thing (but, being employed by a rich man, were instead legal) that left her wealth gone and Heather only just out of jail. Worldwide's offer was the financial lifeline that she needed.
