A character develops an uncontrollable precognitive ability that forces them to experiences events that what will happen a minute or two from now.  The events do not even have to be the characters own; they could belong to a friend, a stranger, or even an object or location.  By placing the visions only a minute or two into the future, this tool can be used to create suspense and allows the storyteller some measure of control regarding the accuracy of the predicted event.

A character realizes that the spelling of a particular word has changed permanently. He knows that he's spelling it correctly, but everybody else spells it the new way.
