| − | Ruccio, beyond being a masterful chef is also an astute businessman. The main method with which he could procure ingredients and local recipes is through trade. Obviously, Ruccio is a hell of an outdoorsman as he needs to hunt, forage, or fish for supplies and he also owns his own boat, which he personally sails. As far as how he fights off pirate attacks (an occasional nuisance), he trains in the Natural Persona Style of combat, which stresses honing one's body to be the best weapon possible.

| − | If Ruccio had any shortcomings, it would be that his social skills are poor. The reason for that is that many Terrestrials look down upon Ruccio with condescension, mainly due to his rather "mortal" occupation. With that said, Ruccio is secretly resentful of the snubbing he receives at parties even though people appreciate and eat his food all the time. Even mortal servants have more chance to interact with those on the upper echelon, since Ruccio is stuck in the kitchen.
