During the late Permian, Russia was a desert region of Pangaea with huge animals. Inostranvencia and Titanophoneous were mammal-like therapsid predators. Dicynodon was a mammal-like plant eater with a beak and tusks. Scutosaurus was an armored pareiasaur.
