I.C.S. is one of the Stellar Nations
ISC was founded during the Exodus by a collection of Corporations.
After the Epic Virus had been resolved, the system became a nation governed by a Corporate body. It was an early member of the Stella League before gaining its independence. It sided with the Eborian Empire during the Stellar war and is now a member of the Galactic Alliance.
ICS 2 is very densely populated and contains most of the system's economic interests.
ICS 1 contains a number of floating cities because the pressure on the surface is much to high for human life.
