History

So named because all of those who helped birth him, including his mother died that very night, rotting purple lilies being all that surrounded the poor screaming infant. An outcaste even amongst his own tribe, young Bloom quickly ended up apprenticed to the local Shaman both because of his natural talents at healing the sick and in an effort to shake his social stigma.

He Exalted at age fifteen, while undergoing trials to raise him to a full shaman for another related tribe. During the Trials the Shaman overseeing him foretold that the boy would betray those things he most loved. Such fear and anger did this rise in the boy that he Exalted and deeply poisonous Lilies sprung from everywhere killing the old man. In his shame the boy set the place ablaze to hide his crime and fled, swearing that he would avoid his fate.

For six years he has wandered, searching for a philosophy and any clues he could find to control himself and his doomed fate. He joined and studied at monastraries, schools and libraries; each time struggling not to become attached and never staying long in case this was the place his curse destroyed. Years have been spent and still he is no closer to his goal.

Personality

• He is a depressed young man, deeply stand offish, as if unwilling to connect to people. He is obviously under a great deal of stress that shows both in his posture and around his eyes. Those that get to know him better find him dedicated, almost miopically so in finding a way to avoid his fate. It is almost as if he has nothing else to believe in, washed away by his nightly dreams and nightmares.
