I am Kudret. My father was Ghevri. When the legions came for my people, my father stood against them. He went to his grave without even his sword. My mother and I were taken with the rest of my people to serve our conquerers. She died. My people died. Even the centurion that owned me died. Only I remained.

With no one to tell me to stay, I left. I was hungry. I was cold. But when soldiers came to take me back, I decided that Kudret, son of Ghevri would rather be cold and hungry than be a slave again. I killed them and when more came I killed them too. I kept killing them until soldiers stopped coming. My father's blood and strength born of the labor I was forced into made killing easy.

Now I am told that others will pay for one who can kill. Now I do not need to be cold, hungry or a slave anymore.
