Paul was never all that bright as a boy, but always stuck up for his friends and saw a few scrapes. With no trade, he tried to make his way in the prize fights. Being light on his feet he had some success, but being knocked out a few times addled his brains. Paul is quick to solve problems with his fists, unless dissuaded by a wiser friend. He is well groomed, with the short chin beard and dark curly hair that is fashionable at this time, but average looking.
