With memorable plays, I rmbeemer them. With many of the things I've responded to in this thread, I'm going back to my computerized logs of my games. Every tournament game I played, and most casual games against other serious players, I kept track of in bound books. I'd then transfer them to the computer and use my home-rolled computer program to have it help me investigate what I should have done on every turn. This was usually annoying because of how often I made a suboptimal or very suboptimal play, but it helped me improve. So, often when I'm answering questions in this thread, I'm using grep and other Unix shell commands to search my game logs for particular scenarios. I have a MacBook computer, and I've been using Unix since 1991, so I'm very fast at using command line tools to search for information.
