- noaidi Nature spirit, intensity 2, bound into a torc about Heammu's neck.
- This spirit claims to be an ancestor of Heammu and Noaidi. Heammu inherited it (along with heammu) and has always turned to it for insight. Although it encouraged him to become chief of the herd, it did not blame him when he turned out not to be the man for the job.
- noaidi talks to Heammu and gives him advice. Where relevant, this can be treated as an increase of one grade (or 20%) on knowledge-based skills.

- As with noaidi, this spirit claims to be Heammu's ancestor and was inherited by him. It has agreed to go on this quest only to right wrong. It doesn't like Heammu (it did before it became clear that Heammu was not chief-material) and is ready to express that, but will do it's best to see him succeed....and achieve his goal of dying in the success.

- Mara loves the hunt and loves hunting with Heammu. She increases Heammu's perception and tracking by one grade (or 20%) and allows him to use his sense of smell for hunting too. He must make occasional sacrifices to Mara, however, or else she gets extremely fidgety and flighty.
