Bakersfield, California
- Agents are with the FBI in Bakersfield, California. The Bakersfield office is small and underfunded with about 12 or so total agents. Most of the facilities are up to date but are usually in use. Anything that can't be handled in Bakersfield can be sent to the parent office in Sacramento, but that could increase the time before results. It can also call attention to the little Bakersfield office, and Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Slater would prefer not to have the big guys meddling with his office.

- The second item is a large, glass jar filled with a thick, clear liquid and a dead dragonfly that has to measure at least 2 feet from tip to tail. It's wings are crushed, and it has obviously suffered severe trauma. Caused San loss.
- Third item is a large ziploc bag with a plant of some sort. It's only about an inch or so tall with no leaves, flowers, or roots. Its stalk is thin and simple, branching a few times with the branches ending in tiny bugle-shaped capsules. picture: post 175.
