Gnome folk
Habitat and population
Being immortal, gnomes live peculiar and ever changing lives. Most of their years they spend in solitude, hiding in a well prepared burrow. At one point they take a 50 year long brake to find a mate and raise children, after which the couple separates.
When an urge for something different hits them they travel, or even join a settlement of a species they find bearable. This does not happen often due to them being xenophobic and mistrustful of other races.
Relationships
Gnomes are xenophobic and antisocial by nature, and would sooner hide than talk to a stranger.
Most elves hunt gnomes as part of their culture. Gnomes believe they are jealous of their immortality and are looking for ways to steal it.
Biology
A gnome pregnancy lasts 200 days.
Gnomes are immortal, meaning they can not die of old age.
