Mythic A JRPG 2:Meerit Wildcat
Name
Meerit D. Wildcat
Physical description
Backstory
Meerit, like many of her kind, has a preference for things that are shiny, rare, and most of all expensive. Hence her chosen profession of Treasure Hunter, a dignified title that calls to mind images of dangerous dungeons and trapped chests with untold riches. And Meerit does do some of that, but just as often she hunts treasures that are already owned and the "dungeons" are often more like fancy mansions.
Even among her friends, Meerit loves good natured tricks and is well known as a compulsive liar. If called on her falsehoods she will claim she's just practicing her acting skills, but she's probably lying. Most people who have known her for long also suspect her name isn't really Meerit "D" Wildcat.
Despite her touchy relationship with the truth, Meerit does have her own sort of honor and will stick with her friends through thick and thin, and while they may disagree on just how "harmless" her little jokes are, usually the only thing to be bruised is their pride.
Meerit's background is shrouded in mystery, mostly because she tells a different story every time she's asked, from being an older sister struggling to support a dozen siblings, to an orphan, or once even a god walking the world to mess with mortals. In reality she's probably from a boring, unremarkable background. Probably.

Basic Shape-Shifting
You can change your form into that of any creature. You can use Will to create an advantage of Creature Form. The opposition is generally Fair (+2), though it increases for particularly large or small shapes and for complex transformations like a swarm of bees. Your new shape persists until you decide to end it or get taken out.
Poisoned Cut
When you succeed with style on a athletics check to attack with a sharp thrown weapon, you may apply the poisoned effect to the target with a value of +2
Dirty Tricks
If you succeed with style on a Fight defense, you can choose to inflict a 2-shift hit rather than take a boost.
