If you have an attack to spare this round, you can choose spend this attack in order to cut an arrow or thrown weapon with your sword. Roll your Reflexes + Kenjutsu (Arrowcutting) as contested roll against a missile attack roll that would hit you. If you win or tie, you cut the missile in two, destroying it before it hits.

You must be able to attack to use this ability, so you cannot use it while running. You can, however use arrowcutting before your initiative turn, as it is an action of pure reflex.
