Hegemony: Ship Advancement

Like characters, the ship gains 2xp per job that can be spent on ship advancements. Players can also donate character experience to the effort. Ship advancement may require more fictional support than character advancement due to the labor and materials required to justify upgrades.
Tier 0
Tier 0 changes will be considered on a case by case basis, but so much of the ship's starting configuration is preset that there are very few player choices to switch up.
Tier 1
- Add an unranked Module to the ship: 1 Experience Athens Class can hold a maximum of 20 Modules, ranked or otherwise.
- Add a
Knack to any
or higher ranked Module: 1 Experience
Tier 2
- Step up an unranked Module to
2 Experience
- Step up a Knack by one die type: 2 Experience Knacks cannot be rated higher than the module they are attached to.
Tier 3
Tier 4
- Step up one Ship Attribute [Hull|Engine|Systems] by one die type: 4 Experience No Attribute may be stepped up beyond
